Hey,
I'm Natalie, a PhD student and, above all, a passionate runner.
Running has played a role in my life since I was six years old. Initially, I was active in classical athletics
as a child, but then quickly specialised in running. I quickly realised: the longer, the better.
At the age of 17, I ran my first half marathon in Freiburg and my first marathon in Vienna two days after my 20th birthday in
April 2016. My marathon starts number two and three followed in Paris and Frankfurt, before shorter distances temporarily came
to the fore a little more. In the meantime, I have returned to the 42.195 kilometres and, after several starts in London & Co, I was
able to become the Scottish marathon Championships runner-up, among other things.
I wear the jersey of the
Roadrunners Südbaden
with great pride. Together with Jonas and our friend Patrick, we founded the
team, which is a registered association, in autumn 2014. From an idea of three students, a team has developed that is more
than just our sporting home.
