We found a flat and only a few days left until the semester starts, so now what? For us the answer was clear: Off to the Highlands!

At short notice, we booked a rental car, bought the most important camping utensils and just drove off. Where to? Simply to the north and thus in the direction of the unique Scottish Highlands. We drove past Falkirk and Stirling to the well-known and popular Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. We spent one night in tents at each of the lochs.

Sometimes it rained during these days, sometimes not. But it did not change the beauty of the landscape and the greatness of the experience. We will do it again as soon as possible and can only recommend it! Oh, and by the way, the left-hand traffic is not as difficult as we had imagined at the beginning. So don't be afraid, just do it!
